Square in Lomnice
Lomnice is a small town, dominated by a magnificent Baroque cathedral from a distance. At the time of its construction, a public space was demarcated in front of it, the original generosity of which is now hidden under the overgrown greenery. The design reopens and unifies the original space, allowing the historical landmarks to stand out and restoring the character of a real square, i.e. a free space suitable for social and cultural events.
I worked on the competition proposal for the revitalization of Palacký Square in Lomnice in November 2016. Results and further information about the competition can be found on the website of the Petr Parléř Society.
